I bought XL, based on my measurements & sizing chart. My first impression was how soft, silky & comfy it feels. There is a nice, soft feel on the side against the skin. The top was sized well based on their chart & comfortably (for me, 36”bra band, 40” around widest, but I wear 38D).The bottom’s waistband doesn’t have much extra in stretch going over my hips & belly, giving me the impression that the threading holding it on would, after repeated use, eventually overstretch & break. It isn’t as well-designed or sized correctly w/the garment size as it should be. The rest of it fits close to the skin (not loosely) as thermals should be to keep in warmth. There is stretch in the rest of the fabric, but it is not “stretchy.”Because of the waistband, I ordered the 2x, the next size up. It fits more loosely in the top (I could have kept the XL), but not so loosely as to be too loose.*2X would be the size to get if you like your clothes to be a little more roomy, rather than well-fit, such that a smaller size (L) will be too small. Basically, when thinking about the size chart, if your measurements & individual build (say, you have more of a beer belly or look pregnant but aren’t, which may be below wait measurement, but above hip & butt measurement) is or might be on the upper end of XL & you like more slack in the fit, 2X might work best.I am happy I exchanged for the larger size even though I was on the upper end of XL & it would’ve been fine if not for the waist band. The manufacturer should fix that!I think I would have preferred something made of cotton. These feel like polyester which is fine but not the most breathable but gets the job done.Delivery was fast and reliable. It’s ok maybe under pants. Not thick as I thought but soft warm and comfortable as thermal wear.I bought these for a Yellowstone winter trip. Love the softness of the material. I especially chose these because the shirt is a mock turtleneck and that's been hard to find in longjohn/thermal tops. I'm short (5'1") so the pants are a bit long but it's not a major issue. They kept me toasty warm. A good base layer.great set of thermals. Bought for winter trip to Iceland. Stayed warm. Snug fit and comfortable. Great buyI find myself wearing these, especially the bottoms as pajamas. I like the comfort and the way that they fit. I've washed them quite a few times, usually I hang dry but sometimes have forgot and allowed them to dry all the way in the dryer on low. They are holding up, no frayed seams or threads coming loose. I recommend them and I would purchase them again. HUGSThe fabric is nice and stretchy, but not as warm as I thought for snow conditions.Je le voulais pour l’hiver mais c’est davantage pour printemps et automne à mon avis
