I needed a pair of brown pants for work but didn't want to spend much. I decided to try scrubs, not really knowing what to expect. I saw the size chart and measured my hips and waist. I initially ordered the 5x, thinking the pants would be a little on the loose side but wearable. The pants ended up being HUGE and I immediately sent it back and requested a size down. The size chart that is provided actually does not have measurements for 5x. The measurements for the 4x were just a tad smaller than my measurements so I thought the 5x would be my fit. After seeing how big the 5x were I was nervous that the 4x would still be too big. I received my replacement quickly and decided the fit was fine. I think if I went down another size they would be a bit snug. As they are now they're a little on the lose side but completely wearable. I just have to tie the drawstrings a little tight. The fabric seems thick and durable and I love the additional side pocket on the leg. I only suggest you go a size down from what you think you would need.Could have sized down and for petite length it’s a bit on the longer side but not awful.Pants are a little baggy in the butt area, but have a really nice fit otherwise. They're Dickies, so they're heavy duty enough for everyday work. I'm 5'6" 155 lbs athletic build and ordered the medium in petite - I love the slightly loose feel so I can move around unconstricted, but they really do have a nice fit overall. I would say these run slightly larger than "standard", but I think the small would have been a little too constricting for me. Personal preference, really. I do wish these either had back pockets or deeper front pockets (my iPhone BookBook barely sits inside, and I have to be careful when bending/squatting), but I really like the right open cargo pocket (sorry, lefties!). Overall, great quality product, and the delivery was prompt as well. Will probably buy more from this seller.Overall these pants are a perfect fit. The inseam in the petite is actually petite (I am 27 inches roughly). And even with the elastic waistband in the back, these pants stay put on my hips. My only complaint is that the material is a little scratchy- something I only noticed at the end of a 12 hour shift (the friction of moving all day left my legs a little sensitive). However, I think after a few more washings this will improve. These pants will likely be replacing all of my Cherokee scub pants (which used to be my favorite, but the fit has changed and they no longer fit snuggly on my hips which means constantly hiking them up so my butt isn't visible and pants dragging on the ground).I had foot surgery and had a lot of bandages on my foot. I realized two days before surgery that I needed something with a wide bottom to be able to get the pants on and off easily. I didn't want to sit around in pajamas all day so I looked online. It dawned on me that scrubs would probably fit the bill. I looked at hundreds of them and finally decided on these. I love them they are light, extremely comfortable and easily come off my bandaged foot. the only thing I would say is that they run one size large so I ordered another couple of pairs but they come in many colors and since I have to be in a walking boot for about 2 months will be a welcome addition. Afterwards it'll just be nice to relax in.Bought another pair, and will probably get another one in another bit of time. I'm a cake decorator and get icing everywhere. These are great for blasting with hot water to melt icing off after work and just leaving to hang dry until the morning if I don't have time to do a proper wash. Since the price is right, I also don't feel bad when I have to kneel on the floor and get my hands dirty with equipment. I know another decorator that wears scrubs too (she's the one that suggested them), but I'm glad Dickies makes this! I'll be coming back once I've worn my two pairs into the ground!*I feel the need to mention that these were the first pair of scrub pants that I have ever tried on, so I really have no frame of reference in terms of scrub norms.*I am 5'3" and about 125 and I ordered the small. My first issue when I opened the packaging was that these pants were a different material and shade of navy than the Dickies top that I ordered to go with them (Junior fit mock wrap). When I put them on I had to pull the waist up above my belly button in order for the crotch of these pants to be anywhere near where it should be. Also, the drawstring does very little to make the waist smaller - other than bunching some fabric together in the front. If it weren't for the rough quality of fabric (and color inconsistently) I might try exchanging them for an XS.I was quite nervous about the fit of these pants as I would be working in a kitchen moving quickly. I ended up ordering a small instead of a medium and when I received them I was pleased they were not too small, in fact I found they were somewhat large! The material is nice and light, there is a great thigh pocket on the right and two regular pockets. Overall a good product and I would order again
