Using these for a jumbo cat box. They are big enough to fit the covered litter box and the drawstring makes clean up easier. Only drawback- needs to be a smidge bit thicker. The plastic is not the best… the cats scratch through it then when I go to take the liner out, it breaks. Not the greatest but still easier than NOT using a liner at all.I have a very large/ jumbo size litter box with snap on lid. This fit. Large size liners won't fit it has to be jumbo.5/2019 Update: Last update (cat has since passed). According to Amazon, I've ordered this 63 times and it seems like quality is back. The plastic is thicker again so it isn't tearing when you open it out of the box and haven't ripped one in the last few boxes. It does have kind of a weird shape that tapers towards the bottom, where it lays flat on the pan, but this ended up reducing any wrinkling on the sides that would end up being little pools of urine. Hard to describe, but it was easier to work with.Update: the material is now even thinner than ever. It's tearing just from putting litter IN the liner. Tossing out everything and finding another brand.Original: Been ordering these for years. For the last maybe year or so, the liner went to a thinner feel and recently appears it's back to a thicker material, which is sort of nice. These don't last more than maybe 5 days before your cat's nails will start to tear through the plastic, so I just bag up the whole thing and put in fresh litter every few days. That's how it's always been with these liners and doesn't bother me at all.The newish thicker liner is tearing a bit just pulling them out of the box where they heat seal it with the drawstring. That's the only downside of the current production quality. For some reason my cat has also managed to puncture it at the bottom despite being thicker, but I think that might have just been a fluke and I didn't have enough litter in there to begin with.I've been buying these liners for over a decade. The quality has decreased a bit but I've tried other alternatives and I always come back to these. They don't really fit the shape of the tray properly and the drawstring doesn't tighten up to prevent kitty from scratching the plastic over the litter when trying to move litter. Also, I gave up on keeping the lid on while using the liners because they get in the way of the parts that lock the top to the bottom. However, now that I have only one kitty and he's very neat in the litterbox, I'm happy using these. I don't have to change them every week and he does not have the habit of tearing at the plastic trying to clean his paws. With two active kitties I had to resort to cutting visqueen and using bungee cords to secure it to the tray. Otherwise they would tear through the liners (even if I used several at a time) and I would have to scrub the tray out every week.I also use them to line my "temporary" second cat box, which has proven to be just as sturdy as the Petmate plastic litter box. They fit fine in the LARGE Kitty's WonderBox, which is an excellent, sturdy, disposable solution to scrubbing a plastic box if you have several cats, messy cats, or medical issues where you need to keep the box absolutely sanitary at all times. The Petmate liners and the large Kitty's WonderBox are a great pairing. I haven't thrown away the WonderBox in months, thanks to the liners.i have been using the Johnny cat box liners for week and i ran out and used this i notice the thinness when i put it one and didn't think about it. well i just change the litter box and i just touched it, did not even pull and it ripped i know i was not going to be lifted up. so i had to get the Johnny cat bags and dump that box bag in there and took it to the trash. will not buy every when there is better options. This product fits our extra-large litter box perfectly! However, it did not stand up to our cats' claws. They were able to puncture through the bag. Although, the bag wasn't severely shredded, we did have a minimal amount of clean up beyond the removal of the litter bag. To combat this problem, we lined the bottom of the litter box with a puppy pad. As this was no extra cost to us, because we use one anyway for the cats to step on directly outside of the litter box to prevent litter from being tracked all over the house (our cats or funny, they do not like litter mats). Overall, due to their size, we would probably purchase them again.Good bag, strong enough that it doesn't tear or break. I have very large boxes with high sides and backs and it fits. But what is with the packaging? Sometimes it comes with no box, or with the box torn up.Petmate needs to significantly thicken the material on this bag. I pulled the bag out of the box, opened it and it tore with almost no force. I had to use 2 bags just to have any level of confidence. Petmate -- get your act together! These rip so easily you are likely looking at a big clean up after use. These are very sturdy. I use these liners in litter boxes with clumping litter. Just tip/shake the box and clumped litter rolls away from the sides for easy scooping. I like that the bags are clear plastic. If you use clumping litter it does help to keep the litter box clean but be careful when emptying the contents as its very thin material & can tear easily.Didn't realize they were clear when purchasing them, but they are good quality and they arrived quickly in the mail. Not great, my cats ripped it easily after less than a week in the pan. upside is that the size was huge and actually fit a jumbo litter box.
